    I have not had any problems with the chlorine eating away at the foil
    backing, it is starting to fade but I have been using this cover for 3
    years and it still works fine with no holes in the foil.

    What is the blue material you covered it with at the end and under the
    hinges?

    Have you had any problems with the chlorine eating away the covers plastics
    or foil backing?

    This did not work at all! For me it was way more than $100.00. About
    $200.00. I had to buy 2 insulating panels. 2 sheets of plywood and the
    vinyl alone was $78. Then I sprayed the bottom of the panels with a
    sealant. The cover weighs about 100 lbs. What a waste! Dont believe what
    you see on YouTube.
